Motel of the Best for the Least

Night photo of the historic fading Whiting Bros. Motel along Route 66 in Yucca, Arizona, during a night photography trip along the Mother Road. Four Whiting brothers founded the company, owning a chain of filling stations, motels, and truck stops along Route 66 in the Southwest. The expansion of the interstate highway system bypassed many of their service stations. Some vacant stations with the original signs still remain.
