Night photo taken at the old M*A*S*H site, where the TV show was filmed in California on a cold December evening. This has survived numerous fires over the years.
A rather menacing night encounter between my fisheye lens and the massive International Loadstar 1600 truck, wearing a five-point crown of red...with a shooting star for good measure. I snuck in a quick visit just before Thanksgiving Day, photographing for two nights in a row in the California desert near the Mexican border. And I managed to stay awake for Thanksgiving dinner the following evening, a great success. Although warm and sunny during the day, by the time I packed up, it was below freezing and I had ice on my windshield. I illuminated the scene with a handheld ProtoMachines LED2 light painting device during the exposure.
A little bit of windshield wiper fluid and we're back in business. Night photo with some fun light painting.
